NOS REPU going on the auction block soon

Due to the decline in my physical health I`m finding it difficult to drive my newly refinished REPU. I have to sell it so that I can buy a vehicle with an auto trans and power steering. In 2 or 3 weeks I should have it ready for listing on Ebay. The list of NOS that have been installed is very long and it also has a low mileage motor with new rotor housings (less than 5,000 miles), new A/C valve and complete factory exhaust system, carb rebuilt with factory parts, new water pump and housing assy, recored radiator, 1st gen rx7 electronic igition, new engine wiring harness as well as a new rear wiring harness, new fuel tank sender and fuel pump, all new lamp assy`s except for the tail lights which have new trim rings, lenses and gaskets, NOS tailgate with new covered chains, tailgate handles, tailgate bumpers, rear reflectors, new drip rail mouldings, everything in the door except for the door glass (vent glass assy and rubbers, door latches, door regulators , all inner and outer door handles and gaskets, door latches. stikers, anti-burst locks, weatherstrips etc.) New headliner, sunvisors, rear view mirror, ashtray, vent knobs, hood release handle , heater bezel, heater controls, heater water valve, all hoses, seat rebuilt from the frame up, NOS bumper center bar, both grille emblems, front hood trim, valance panel, rechromed bumper ends and headlight bezels, the grille was the last new one in 1993. It even has a new windshield and rear slider with new gaskets. there`s a lot more but I would like to mention the body, the bed is exceptionally straight as is the rest of the truck with only a few minor dings in hard to notice areas. It also has a 77 ribcase 5 speed, 15" wheels from the 87-93 4 wheel B2600`s with a set of NOS center caps.

Any pics? Also, where are you located and how much are you hoping to get for it?

Thanks,
Mike

Say it ain't so, Craig!!!

I'm stunned and amazed --and not in a good way-- to hear of the extent of your health concerns... Wishing you everything positive regarding your health; at the very least, immediate stabilization... !
I'm sorely tempted to take on excess additional debt in order to offer you a 'somewhat reasonable' amount, outright...
Yours simply has to be, if not 'THE' finest, certainly one of the absolute top three finest examples of REPU-dom remaining in existence, anywhere. (And, I wouldn't expect anything that could come even close to EVER be up for sale, at any price!)
May your health take an immediate turn for the better, so you can keep and enjoy the fruits of your labor!

Yes, "stunned" is the word,
Craig had brought his truck by for a visit, got to meet him in person, he is a hell of a nice guy.
His truck is as close to a brand new one as you'll get, it has many new parts that are simply unobtainable now,at any price, if I hadn't bought the 77 I got from Smelly Bob I'd be talking to my banker come Tuesday morning!
Hope Craig stays with us in the newsgroup after his truck sells.
Bring your money and belly up to the E-Bay bar, someones gonna get a hell of a nice truck.

Straight,

Sorry to hear about your ill health, Craig. We met when I picked up the RB hdr for my 74 in S'vale a few weeks ago. Can you tell us what happened? And I'm sorta interested in the REPU, too.

John

Hi John,

The truck was apart when you were by, looks much better now. My problem is to many physical injuries starting to catch up to me. Before I got the truck I had a back injury and have sustained another since I started working on it. A year and half ago I tore the tendons in my left elbow, before it was able to begin healing I sustained a bad rotator cup injury in my right shoulder. Every time I drive it I end up hurtin and its going to take a long time for me to heal. My having to pack and move a household didn`t do me much good either. Now that I finally have the truck back together I`m unable to enjoy it.

Hi Craig,

Very sorry to see the pride and joy up for sale. Would an auto trans, softer springs, GSL-SE power steering and nice bucket seats help to keep it?

Time for

... a serious, long-term program of injury-specific physical therapy, and a healing diet...

Brad, I would guess such modifications inappropriate to Craig's truck... and, done to another REPU, still not the 'best' solution, likely due to the restrictions of cab size, for starters...

Still hoping I'm wrong!

Getting old is no fun.
