Oh,look closer and see if you can pick out the other mods that are less noticeable.

Very nice looking, you could easily imagine Mazda producing that if they had continued.
I see it's lowered, the bed tie downs have been shaved, the wheels, the finish on the grill, the trim strip in the windshield molding, the seats.
How hard was it to match up the donor front?

The bumper cover was simple. The stock bumper and valance are blacked out and are underneath it.You've missed one more exterior mod that's hard to notice in the pic.Hint: they were chrome but are gone now.

That would be the rain gutter trims...

It does look remarkably good (for having Honda bits involved)! Say, could I talk you into pulling that covered valance and front bumper off--since you're not using 'em anyway--and sending 'em to me? :b
BTW, what are those seats--and how well do they fit/leave room for actual driving duties? (It's a rarity to find buckets that work for all but the smallest-framed among us...)

Well the rain gutter trim strips aren't there, but I thought they were off, "work in progress", with the marker lights, and not a mod.
So you need something under that cover to make it work? I was thinking of something to replace stock parts.

How about some details on the Accord bumper cover. Like manufacture, year of Accord?
Looks great and like it was made for repu's. I think I want one.

Thanks, Jeff

They can be found cheap. It's funny,I found this one lying in a pile a scrap at a friends bodyshop. It's a 89' model and I've seen them on ebay. That's where I bought the clear outs.

I've always been a rotary fan.I bought this truck 12 years ago out of a pasture. It was already "rigged" terribly for a small block.A dog had been sleeping in it,the thing was so ugly my wife made me put it inside(as soon as I stripped the interior).I'm a cerified chevy technician so leaving it smallblock powered made it easier since I have chevy stuff everywhere. All my chevy buddies say I'd be better off with an s-10.They're a dime a dozen though,I mean everybody's seen a v-8 s-10.Most people don't even know what kind of truck I'm driving, much more interesting.

Hey D-

Aren't you in B'Ham Alabama? I'm going to be visiting there in late July to see friends and pick up a few old school Mazdas- was wondering if we may be able to get together for a few so I can see your truck and that bumper and all in person?

Cool...

Glad to hear we may be able to cross paths. Send me your number when you get a chance (kansei@pathwaynet.com). Connections? You mean for old school cars and such? I think I found one hell of one, meeting him for the first time when I come down next month. He seems to have leads on everything from R100s on up to FDs. I'm getting one or two RX-3 Wagons from him, and may be going back down soon to pick up a REPU or two. Let me get what I'm after, and I'll hook you up with him. He's not in B'Ham, but not too far away.
