Well, thanks!
...and, you're welcome! Now, about not wanting to 'race the pipes off' a REPU...: If it doesn't get you injured, busted, or killed, there's nothing a well-tuned rotary in good condition likes more than being wound out to the reasonable limits of it's build configuration, every gear, all the time... and the REPU is no exception! You might even find it's quicker thru a certain range than some lighter, more modern rotorcars, due to it's low, low gearing...
There's a reason REPU's are all in need of LSD's in the rearend!

don't take me wrong ...
like i said i am itchin to show the 4 bangers 6's and 8's around here up, and them be like "what the hell just wooped my a$$?" i don't feel i am there yet,or would be every weekend cause i know its goin on out there.:p
once i get my other repu running perfect in case i need to rely on it ever, or get another rotary i don't want to push my limits with what i got ... i would also like to put alittle $ into upgrades if needed before i get involved in whatever on the street, still trying to find some rubber to fit ... proper offest ... my repus i know are very good trucks/ aside of my timing situ. on one ... and i want them last, and not break down or nothing ... i am good at keeping a car alive, and i want to incorporate that to my repu's ... as well as making them run better.
and also i am looking for other rotaries around heretoo.wouldn't mind a savannah rx7 turbo to play with so i didn't have to take my repu out full time.--->or just whatever rotary ... i know i can not be picky when it come to that cause they r scarce ... as it shows here.i'm gonna be "the" rotary kid here huh!i will see the way things unfold, i have time and options and selling my repu's will not be one of them for awhile is what i think.i have a buddy/partner moving in with me this year some time and we r getting into tuning/customizing very extensively togather ... possible shop and all ... and maybe even a full "team" later on.so rotary, here i come!
i want to be involved in a repu meet of some sort but i am unaware of many times that happen ... mostly on the east coast right?maybe i will bump into some rotorheads here too that is into it.most that i find r out of the rotary thing and usually give me the impression the didn't really learn about or get to involved you know.?!
it will take time and experience to learn more which is my goal,i learn alot reading from here but until i have hands on feel i won't fully understand.so until then ... thanks *
